Cuisine de l'Ame offers a professional chef experience to all its customers. I take in mind the importance of the freshness of ingredients and flavor required for every meal. The goal of making food from scratch allows me to give special attention to everyone. I want my customers to taste the flavors of the ingredients of each dish that is provided, to bring forth a memorable experience.
I, Jamar Thornton, have been cooking for 10+ years. I am a 2021 graduate of Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, located in Boulder CO, earning an Associates in Culinary Arts. I have also attained a Diploma in Pastry Arts in 2023. I am trained in French cuisine however, I do specialize in Italian, American, and Southern dishes. I also have skills in BBQ, breads, baking, and desserts. While I have been trained in these areas of cuisine, I also bring a depth of knowledge attained through my upbringing and culture. I am always looks for opportunities to push the boundaries of the palette. I look to include new ingredients and flavors to change traditional expectations into something tasty and balanced. This allows me to continue my creativity and bring fresh ideas to those who can try my food. I find enjoyment behind the grill, stove, cutting board, and the environment of the kitchen. I aim to provide the best experience to all my customers and meet the needs of anyone’s meal.
I am also trained and experienced in creating dishes to those with dietary needs and restrictions.
